Here are a few recipes we've enjoyed. Give them a try or use them as a point of departure to explore. Where possible, ingredients should be Organic, of course. 

Jahdo Burgers   ****
3/4  packet of red kidney beans  (375gm)
2 tomatoes and 6 extra sprigs of thyme.  2 cups of  quick oats
2 large chopped onions  
4 sage leaves
6 sprigs of thyme
4 sprigs of rosemary
4 sprigs of parsley
1 burdock leaf (optional)
4 liberal squirts of Bragg Liquid Aminos (soy protein-available in health food stores)
4 to 5 cups of instant oats
3 shakes of cayenne pepper
3 shakes of black pepper

Instructions:
- Cook beans till soft.;
- Blend all of the fresh herbs plus one of the onions in a vitamiser or something similar. (We have a juicer that does all of these wonderful things)
- Mash the beans, mix and squish together all the herbs and the remaining chopped onion.
- Shape into thin patties and cook in a pan with a little organic, cold-pressed olive oil or bake in an oven.   Eat hot or cold with organic salad.


And, a wonderful version of this is:

Jahdo Mush Burgers *****
All the same as above, with the addition of 10 medium sized mushrooms.
The mushrooms get squished in with the herbs and the onion,
Plus some extra oats for binding

These get the top "5-Star Yum Rating" from Jahdo!
All of the recipes are yummy, but some take priority over others.



Mr. Potato Head!



The LUV,PEACE 'N MUNG BEAN snack
- Mung Beans .
- Lots of sprouted living bursting with goodness mungs.
- Olive Oil ( cold pressed etc )
- Lots of Sunflower Seeds About half the amount of the Mungs
- Shoyu . A sprinkle
- Ra Salt ( Please see the Wholefood Farmacy site for this excellent salt ) A sprinkle and a bit
- Mix all together and eat
- We have this for lunch quite a lot with some variations. Tastes excellent with some gently ,thoughtfully sliced organic Tomatoes.

POPEYE RICE
- Brown Organic Rice .Half a packet for two people or more for more
- Poppy seeds .
- Organic Peanut Butter
- Spinach
- Tofu
- Steam the Rice till nice 'n soft
- Add the poppy seeds in near the end of the steaming
- After the steaming , add two or three teaspoons of Peanut Butter and fold into the rice.

*Thinking of good things and gratefulness ,while preparing ,greatly enhances the flavour of all meals.

- Add Lightly steamed Spinach ( not a huge amount , but enough to see that it is there and to get the taste mixing with the others ).
- Gently Fry some Tofu cut into inch size squares and add this to the Rice
- Then add some Shoyu and let it sit for Ten minutes ,then serve. .



Tayhto Deelight *****

This very simple recipe never ceases to amaze. 
Quantities here are for 2 people, adjust for your requirements.
 
6 medium sized Potatoes - washed and scrubbed with jackets left on. 
1 to 2 cloves garlic - crushed
Sesame, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, lightly browned in a pan (not fried with oil)
Spinach or similar green vegetable  Very lightly steamed
OR  Raw sunflower shoots or snowpea shoots    
Organic Tamari or Shoyu
Organic cold pressed, virgin olive oil   
Fresh chopped Coriander and Chives 
3 shakes Cayenne
3 shakes black pepper                 
 
Instructions:
- Steam the potatoes. 
- Place Green Vegetables in a serving bowl, then add the steamed potatoes.
- Mix a couple of squirts of Tamari and add olive oil liberally. 
- Add 3 shakes Cayenne and 3 shakes of black pepper
- Mix and mash (but don't mash the potatoes too much, leave plenty of chunks)
- Add sesame, sunflower and pumpkin seeds
- Sprinkle with Coriander and Chives
- Mix in again,  add a couple of sprigs of coriander on the top and serve.

THE 'KIN BURGER Quick 'n easy
- Gently fry onion and capsicum in olive oil (cold pressed virgin organic, etc )
- Cut Butternut pumpkin into round slices about half an inch thick and roughly the size of a burger and gently steam till soft. You can if you wish fry the pumpkin as well to give it the greazies taste.
- Toast some good healthy bread ( not the white plastic stuff they sadly call bread ) and the put some olive oil on the toast instead of butter
- Liberally add lots of the gently fried Onion and Capsicum
- Add a bit of pepper .
- A squirt of Braggs Liquid Aminos (get it at the health food stores or Shoyu can be used in its place).

Then eat it YUMMEEEE


Potato Herbert
- Cut a three or four big organic Potatoes into one inch squares. ( you will need a ruler for this ) (sorry, only joking)
- Gently steam for15 minutes till not quite soft
- Warm up a pan with Olive oil in it and add the Potato and gently brown some of it , Not all of it. ( we wouldnt want you eating unhealthy fried stuff. well anyway do it gently.)
- Sprinkle mixed Herbs liberally all through it
- Add lots of Sesame seeds and turn of the cooker
- Now add a couple of sprinkles of Braggs Liquid Aminoes
- Cut four sprigs of wonderfilled Parsley. (More if you wish)
- Let it sit while you contemplate this wonderful Universe
- Then serve and eat

The BEST LIQUID BEVERIDGE
- Clean cool Water
- Take a glass and fill with this wondrous stuff and drink it down ( pretty complex but we'll get the hang of it )
